The Location

The Ski Fields, situated in the heart of the spectacular Japan Alps, is comprised of 10 ski resorts that provide an incredible variety of alpine terrain to cater to all levels of skiers and snowboarders. With over 200 different trails, some of Japan's longest vertical skiing, and most challenging terrain, Japan is undoubtedly a world-class ski destination that should not be missed. It is simply the snow sports mecca of Japan, and one must experience it to believe it.

February is a great time to visit Japan for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, with plenty of snowfall and cold temperatures creating ideal conditions on the slopes. February is typically the snowiest month, with an average snowfall of around 2 metres (6.5 feet). This makes for excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions, with plenty of fresh powder on the slopes.

We have accommodation in Hakuba, Niseko and other Japanese ski fields.

  • This trip suits someone in fairly good physical condition that wants to ski/snowboard and make the most of their time in Japan. Keen to socialise after a day on the mountains but happy to be left to their own devices on the mountain most days. Power days, first tracks, post ski apres drinks, great food and good company is right up your alley.
