How It Works — TIDDLY Travel

TIDDLY is a new way to travel for digital nomads. Those that are craving more from life than 9-5 in a bland office and living for the weekends. It offers an alternative to shitty hostels and trying to make friends on the fly or worse still, just going solo. You still get all the benefits of a staying in a luxury villa including stunning accommodation, self catering facilities, fast WIFI and cost effective prices, plus you have a vetted crew of people with a similar vibe. Here’s a bit more detail about how it all works!

We research & plan

We hunt down the best villas in different destinations. We work with the private villas to get the best price possible. All the villas have an on the ground host (that is also a digital nomad) plus we can help organise transport to and from the airport. There is always heaps of shared spaces to work from and lots to do nearby.

You put your name on the list

We only run a few trips a year at the moment, so fill out our form for which destinations and month you would like to travel to so you’re the first to know when we launch. Once we’ve got a trip confirmed, we will put it on our website and send you an email with the date and villa ready for you to book!

Once minimum numbers are met, the trip is confirmed

For each trip there’s a minimum number of people we need for it to get the go-ahead, similar to most group tours. Generally this is about half the total capacity and we try our best to ensure all trips proceed. You’ll get an email from us as soon as we’ve hit minimum numbers and it’s all confirmed.

Travel pack delivered

Once the trip is confirmed, we will send out your travel pack with all key details including; accommodation location, how to get there, detailed itinerary, climate and weather conditions, packing list and more. Now you can plan all other key details of your trip like flights, other accommodation, transfers, etc.

Fill out our pre-travel form & balance due

We like to get to know each traveller a bit more before we depart so you’ll get a form to fill out that has key details like your emergency contact details, what you do for work and more. Fill it in easily online and get ready for your trip! Generally around this time your balance payment is due (if you paid an initial deposit only).

Trip time!

It’s finally time for your trip! All you have to do is turn up and have the best time.
